Most psychologists agree that most women don't get PMS, they just think that they get moody/pissed/depressed/whatever that time of the month when they look back on it.

I don't agree with that theory. I never thought I had it in the first place, but my mother always begged to differ. Then, from looking at old journal entries and random sketches done at that time o' the month, I realized I was really, really down.

So I understand the viewpoint that women think they had PMS because they assume they're supposed to, but in some cases it's gotta be real.

I mean, if nothing else, the very idea of "oh shit, it's that time again" pisses me off plenty.

Both are the main reasons why women aren't allowed in combat arms. From 1938-1972 (the years that there was the military draft) those who were drafted went into the combat arms. The current conscription plans call for all draftees to go into combat arms.

Our culture and society have set roles for men and women. Men are strong, brave, and handle all the problems. Women are "not like that".

Our society encourages women to be dainty and fragile. It is exteremly hard to "de-program" a woman, the army doesn't waste it's money on it.

Russians and Isrealis allow women into their combat arms but, their culture and situations are different.

Russians are all brought up hard, they have to be. If they weren't, they wouldn't survive.

Isreal has such a lack of manpower that they need to incorporate women into their military.

I agree with you. The original law was instated for the reason that women are more important in the promotion of maintaining the species. One male can fertilize several females...that sort of thing.

Regardless of who is supposed to be the weaker sex, or who supposedly has a higher pain tolerance, this simple bit of logic SHOULD have been realized eons ago:
